On November 24th, the foundation held its second annual community Thanksgiving dinner.
With the generous support of family, friends and area business we were able to prepare and serve over 400 meals to those less fortunate.
At Helping Hands, our family and friends were able to experience first hand, just how reaching out to those who have few blessings, who's tummies and tables would have been empty. This year we were able to serve over 400 hot meals. We were also able to deliver meals to the YMCA and Access York.
Thank you:
- Ginger Babies for providing the facility to prepare & package the meals.
- Sysco Foods for providing a generous donation of food.
- Brown's Orchard for donating pies.
- Yowza Water

The building was in desperate need of a new roof. The foundation was happy to be able to fund and replaced it for them.
We supplied and prepared more then 400 hot meals on Thanksgiving.
3 year Grant of $10,000
The grant will help expand the SMART after-school program, in which high school students mentor elementary students with educational and social challenges.
We need your help for Thanksgiving this year!
Our goal for 2007, is to provide and deliver over 600 hot meals to those in need.
If you would like to help us with donating your time, money, food or services, please call the foundation!
We will be grateful for any donation that you can give.
"Together we can make a difference. Feeding those in need on Thanksgiving is a wonderful feeling. We invite you to share the experience with us."
